The PSP launched in 2004 and Sony stopped making them in 2014 — but the handheld retro community has kept them very much alive. Three meaningful PSP variants. Each has a different sweet spot.
The PSP 3000 (2008) is the most refined PSP — better LCD, anti-glare screen, built-in mic, and the most polished hardware. The PSP 2000 (2007) is the slimmer revision before 3000, popular with modders because some 2000 units have unbrickable CFW (TA-088v3 chipset is the exception). The PSP Go (2009) is the smallest, slide-out-screen PSP — no UMD drive, digital-only. We carry all three pre-owned, plus we install Adrenaline CFW on PSP Vita (separate page) which acts as a much faster PSP.
