Sony stopped selling PS3 a long time ago — but the games never stopped being great. PS3 is where you'll find the original Last of Us, Demon's Souls, Metal Gear Solid 4, Persona 5 (the original release), Yakuza 3-5, Heavy Rain, and countless JRPGs that were never re-released. For collectors and serious story-gamers, owning a working PS3 in 2026 is a genuine library expansion — and the entry price is shockingly low.

PS3 Slim and Super Slim — tested, cleaned, ready to play

We don't carry the original phat PS3 anymore (YLOD risk too high). What we do carry: Slim and Super Slim, the two reliable revisions.

Of the three PS3 hardware revisions — original phat (2006), Slim (2009), Super Slim (2012) — we only carry the latter two. The original phat PS3 has a known YLOD (yellow-light-of-death) failure mode from solder fatigue under the GPU; we won't sell them with a clear conscience. PS3 Slim is the sweet spot — silent, reliable, plays every PS3 game, supports CFW (Custom Firmware) on most early units. PS3 Super Slim is the smallest and most efficient, top-loading disc tray, best for buyers who want the most reliable hardware.

PS3 pricing — honest bands, no surprises

PS3 prices are stable now — Sony hasn't made them in years and the second-hand market has settled. Stock fluctuates with trade-ins. Call before visiting if you want a specific configuration.
