Symptom: 'Disc read error' or repeated retry. Fix: replace blu-ray pickup (KHS-400/KHS-7008), recalibrate, clean lens assembly. ₹1.5–2.5K. Most PS2 lasers are 15+ years old; renewal is the right call.
Solder fatigue under GPU/CPU. Reflow is cheap and lasts 6–12 months; reball is permanent (proper BGA reball with leaded solder). ₹2–6K depending on method. We're honest about which one your console deserves — fat YLODs reball, slim YLODs often reflow well.
Most common PS4 fault. Symptom: no video output, intermittent flicker, console boots fine. Cause: cable insertion stress over years cracks the SMD pads. Micro-soldering replacement with genuine port. ₹2.5–4K, 2–3 day turnaround.
PS4 spits discs back out, won't read 4K Blu-ray, drive belt slipped. Replacement drive units in stock; re-pair to console motherboard required. ₹2.5–5K depending on model.
PS5 ships with liquid metal TIM that can pump out over 3+ years. Symptom: fan noise, throttling, shutdowns mid-game. We re-pad and re-apply liquid metal correctly (with insulation foam). ₹2.5–4K. Same-day on most.
Same failure pattern as PS4 — physical port damage. Slightly trickier on PS5 (port is on the daughterboard). ₹3–5K, 3–4 day turnaround.
